পূর্ণিমা চাঁদ হতে চেয়েছিলো।

পূর্ণিমা চাঁদ হতে চেয়েছিলো।

চেয়েছিলো কলংকের কালিমা কে না লুকিয়ে

স্নিগ্ধ আলোয় এ পৃথিবী কে ভরিয়ে দিতে।

অভাগা গুলো কে একটু ভালোবাসা দিতে

আর বেরঙিন জীবনে একটু জোয়ার ভাটা আনতে।

কিন্তু

সে বোঝেনি এই ক্ষুধার রাজ্যে পৃথিবী গদ্যময়।

তাই চাঁদ না , সে ঝলসানো রুটি হয়ে গিয়েছিলো।

মার্ গুড় দিয়ে রুটি, চিনি দিয়ে চা, ফুঁ দিয়ে খা, বলে

ওরা ওকে খেয়ে নিয়েছিল।

Purnima wanted to be the full moon

Purnima wanted to be the Full moon.
She did not want to hide her stigma and
wanted to fill this world with her soft moonlight.
She wanted to give a little love to the losers,
and to bring a little tide in boring life.
But,
she did not understand that the world is full of prose in this state of hunger.
So not the moon, she became a baked bread.
“Bread with molasses, tea with sugar, eat with puff”, they said
and then ate her!!
